Why October is the pre-stock window
Southeast Asia's biggest sales events are double-date festivals — 10.10, 11.11 and 12.12 — and 11.11 is the anchor. Demand spikes, but so does competition for the same factory molds. The practical consequence for a reseller or dropshipper is simple: the products that are already proven sellers in September/October are the ones that sell out at the source first. Pre-stocking is not about guessing a new winner; it is about securing supply of a known winner before the queue forms.
The four products below are Sourmo's current volume and margin leaders. They are deliberately not exotic — that is the point. Proven, cheap-to-test, light-to-ship lines de-risk the season.
The four pre-stock plays
1 · Hero restock — protect the winners
Cloud-Feel Slippers ~US$1.13 300g Blank Tee ~US$3.57 MOQ 1 · Dropship OK
Your highest-turnover, lowest-friction lines. Because both are MOQ-1 and dropship-friendly, you can hold almost no inventory and still ride 11.11 traffic — but if you run paid ads, order a small buffer so a stock-out at the source does not kill your ranking mid-campaign.
2 · Margin gift set — bundle the cheap "wow" items
Magnetic Cosmetic Bag ~US$0.57 Pillow Travel Bag ~US$0.95 MOQ 1
The two cosmetic bags are the cheapest units on the shortlist and have high perceived value. Sold alone they compete on price; bundled as a "standing + travel" gift set they lift average order value just in time for gifting season. Add a custom print or logo to escape the copycat price war.
3 · Bulk accessory (multipack) — only for proven channels
Zhuji Sport Socks ~US$0.19 "Dopamine" Hair Clip ~US$0.19 MOQ 100
These sit at the top of Sourmo's "Best Pick" value tier because of extreme unit economics — but the MOQ-100 floor turns them into a real inventory commitment. Sell them as multipacks through a channel you already move volume in. Do not use 11.11 as your first test of a MOQ-100 line.
4 · Thin-competition test — differentiate, don't clone
Fox-Ear Cartoon Headband ~US$0.66 MOQ 1 · Dropship OK
A character/soft-accessory niche with far less crowding than apparel or bags. Dropship-friendly, so it is a safe way to test a differentiated angle during the season without inventory risk. Best sold through short-form content where you own the look.

Lead-time timeline to 11.11
- Early–mid October (now): shortlist and sample. Order 1–2 units of every SKU you are considering; confirm quality, packaging and true ship time.
- Late October: place the hero-restock and gift-set orders. This is when popular molds start to queue.
- 1–5 November: hold buffer stock for anything you are running ads against; finalise listings and bundles.
- 11.11 and after: watch sell-through; the same shortlist usually carries into 12.12, so a clean 11.11 is a 12.12 head start.
